My typical day is filled with attempting to drink coffee while spending time in Scripture before my kids wake at the crack of dawn, feeding said littles and reminding them they actually have to eat and stay hydrated, chipping away at my to-do list any moment I can while ignoring the laundry, and enjoying a glass of wine after the kids are in bed. When I’m not working on client sessions, you can find me savoring the lives of my two kiddos, crocheting on the couch while I watch a show with my husband, or reading historical fiction from the comfort of my bed. Those who know me best describe me as honest, loyal, and intentional. I love serving the world by helping people feel seen, encouraged, and confident.

Based in New Brunswick, NJ, I am most passionate about capturing you as you are. From the exciting time of your engagement, to those first precious weeks of life with your newborn or your daughter’s birthday party, or to when you start your own business; Every stage of life has beauty and I value bottling that joy in the form of a photograph. My work is a mixture of posed portraiture and candid lifestyle photography. My images are authentic to you, bold, and full of color and emotion. From the time you book with me until after your gallery is delivered, I’m here to make this fun. I believe a photography session is more than just a photoshoot and digital jpegs. I genuinely want to know you and your sweet family. By the time you order your products, I hope you call and text me multiple times to help you decide which image to use as a metal print above your mantle. At your session we will laugh, explore, and be goofy, and by the end your kids will be asking when Miss Nichole can take their picture again.

I married my best friend in 2012 when we planned our entire wedding down to the minute (for real, I created a 10 page document), and we had tons of friends help make it happen. The only person we hired was the photographer.

I grew up in a small town 30 minutes outside of Pittsburgh and my parents still live in the same house.
Growing up I never played sports, but I did do all things musical: show choir, musicals, piano, guitar. The hobby that has stuck the longest has been tap dancing.

I have a tendency to sing sentences, especially when around small children. Singing just makes everything better!
After earning a degree in mathematics from Allegheny College in Meadville, PA I moved to Newark to teach with Teach For America. Three years after that I got a position in East Brunswick Public Schools where I taught until we started our family.
In the evenings after the kids are asleep, you can find me snuggled on the couch reading a book or crocheting.
I am a 6 on the Enneagram, dubbed the "Loyal Skeptic." This means once you're my friend, you're my friend for life and I am super detail-oriented and think through all of the options to any potential problem.
My first time traveling outside the U.S. was in college when I went on several mission trips to Jamaica. I got to help build houses and share the love of Jesus in an amazing community in the mountains.
